Meindl Airstream Hi Viz boots are the ultimate safety boot. The first line of defense is a steel safety toe cap and tough Bergrind Leather upper. For further reinforcement there is a special chainsaw anti-cutting Kevlar lining and strong anti-piercing shank. The protective system is finished off with a strong rubber rand around base of the boots to offer some protection to the leather upper at its widest point.
Of course being Meindl boots they are also supremely comfortable. They have a 100% Waterproof Gore-Tex® lining as part of their Air Revolution System which provides optimum foot temperature and has improved the Gore-Tex® standards of breathability by 33%. The Air Revolution boots offer excellent protection against overheating even with heavy all day use. At the same time the boots offer protection against cold - dry feet are warm feet and the Gore-Tex® lining is a one way membrane, wicking moisture away from the feet and out of the boots but not letting any cold water in. No detail is overlooked - the steel toe cap even has a polystyrene insulation lining. Meindl's "Posture Correct Walking System" is incorporated into the boot design which provides support for optimum walking posture helping prevent foot and back problems. The medium/firm Orthotic Nylon Polymid shank offers excellent support.
These boots are ideal for logging in steep country, long days high country farming or anywhere comfort when correct support and safety are crucial.
