ISC 20mm Aluminium Rigging Block
Description
ISC 20mm Aluminium Rigging Block
These blocks are rope friendly, durable and extremely robust. These features combined give maximum security and strength, when the block is rigged as part of an impact system.
The ISC RP057 block has been designed to take a 19mm (3/4”) rope with up to a 29mm (1 1/8”) topping strop and has a work load Limit (WLL) of up to 4000kg.
To get the most out of your favourite ropes, or to create a crotch where none is available, simply tie the sling around the tree, below the area to be cut, with the pulley on the falling side. By threading your lowering line through the pulley at the new pivot point, instead of the rough crotch of a tree, heat and friction are reduced to nearly zero. Bull ropes will last longer, and, combined with a ‘Port-A-Wrap’, will provide you with greater control of heavy wood, eliminating the destruction of expensive or sensitive landscapes. This system provides an instant, frictionless pulley for your ropes to run or a leverage vantage point above heavy limbs targeted for removal. - side cheeks are powder coated cast aluminium - Aluminium 6082T6 sheaves with high tensile steel axles - spring loaded upper pin with a captive bushing, simply push and twist the upper pin and the cheek plates will open. And best of all, the bushing and pin cannot fall out of the block.
