The standard Maxi II lopper but with short handles fitted rather than the standard length handles.
When you’ve got a block of trees to prune that have smaller branching, less effort is required working the opening and closing of the short handles than what’s required to work the standard length handles. Shorter handles means less leverage but on smaller branching the amount you lose in leverage is more than made up with the lower amount of effort required to work the handles.
This lopper is a modified and trimmed down version of the good old faithful Prun-Off lopper. With experience and good technique the operator can achieve higher productivity using this lopper. Others have attempted to copy this New Zealand designed and made lopper but have fallen short on performance and quality.
The bypass double action lever system provides a clean healthy cut with less effort required by the operator.
