New technological breakthrough in professional pole saw design from Silky! LONGBOY 360 Folding Telescoping Pole Saw that extends to 3.6m. Super-lightweight (only 1.95kg) and extremely compact (length of only 1.4m when poles are stored), it easily fits in the trunk of any car. Equipped with aggressive, curved, chrome-plated 360mm blade with non-set, taper-ground, impulse-hardened 6 tpi teeth configuration. The advanced designed special SKS-5 high-tech alloy steel blade provides significantly improved cutting efficiency and maintains superior wear resistant cutting edge. Additional oval-profile pole features include new ergonomic non-slip over grip design and unique pole end shock absorber. The LONGBOY comes with a plastic high visibility sheath that securely locks to the lower pole when blade is folded.

Mirai-Me Smooth Cutting - The teeth of the future! Blades have precision ground, razor sharp teeth with 4 cutting angles along their length. They leave an especially smooth surface after cutting and are ideal for pruning, greatly reducing the risk of infection. They can rip-cut, cross-cut and slant-cut.

Non-set Teeth - Blades are made from SK-4 high carbon steel and taper ground i.e. thicker at the tooth edge, thinner at the back of the blade. This taper reduces resistance giving smoother, easier, faster cutting performance.

Impulse Hardening - Using a special high frequency heating technique, teeth are heated instantly and hardened. Because of this localized heating process only the teeth of the blade are heated and hardened. The remainder of the blade is unchanged and still retains its normal flexibility. The hardened teeth are harder than an ordinary file and stay sharp about three times longer than non-hardened teeth.
